Funding and rebates

    NDIS

    We can provide services to individuals who have self managed and plan-managed NDIS plans.

    Unfortunately, we can’t accept agency managed NDIS plans.

    Medicare

    We can accept individuals who have the GP Chronic Condition Management Plan. You can access this through your GP.

    The CDM provides 5 rebated Occupational Therapy sessions per calendar year.

    Further information regarding this care plan is available by contacting Medicare and/or your GP.

    Once the invoice is paid, you can then submit it to Medicare for a rebate. Medicare rebates are approximately $58.30 per session.

    Private Health and Privately Funded

    Private Health

    If you have Occupational Therapy covered under your private health insurance, services can be claimed back after the invoice has been paid.

    Please contact your private health fund to determine your rebate.

    Privately funded individuals

    We welcome self-funded clients and can provide services to individuals who wish to pay privately.

Fees

    Therapy Intervention

    About You OT offers therapy sessions at homes, schools, daycares, and other community settings.

    Session fees are charged at the hourly rate of $193.99 as per the current NDIS Price Guide.

    Session fees are the same for all funding streams- NDIS funding (self and plan managed participants only), medicare and private health fund rebates and for privately paying individuals.

    Assessments and Reporting

    All assessments and reports are charged at $193.99 per hour.

    Travel

    We will discuss any travel costs with you prior to starting therapy. About You OT aims to limit travel charges by grouping clients together who are based in similar locations. If you are looking to reduce travel costs, all our services can be provided via teletherapy.

    Currently, travel is charged pro rata at $97 per hour as per the current NDIS Price Guide. Kilometres travelled by the therapist will be charged at $1 per km.

    We currently service individuals living in Leeming and the surrounding southern suburbs of Perth.
