Early intervention
At About You OT, we believe that early support can make a lasting difference. Our Early Intervention Occupational Therapy services are designed for babies, toddlers, and young children (typically aged 0–9 years) who may be experiencing developmental delays, have disabilities, challenges with daily activities, or differences in how they play, move, or interact.
Our Focus Areas
Our early intervention services support children in building skills across a wide range of developmental areas, including:
Fine and gross motor skills – such as reaching, grasping, drawing, holding toys, sitting, crawling, walking, or using utensils
Play and social interaction – engaging in play, taking turns, building relationships
Emotional regulation – managing big feelings, adapting to changes, calming strategies
Self-care tasks – like feeding, dressing, toileting, and sleeping routines
Sensory processing – understanding and responding to the way children experience touch, sound, movement, and more
